Jior Couture - Holiday 2014 Collection (swatches and review)

HI guys! Today I have 3 of the 6 polishes in Jior Couture's upcoming Winter 2014 collection. Jior Couture is owned and operated by Sacha Junique. She creates Cruelty and 5-Free lacquer and hand care products.

Means a Little Bit More is a gorgeous holiday green jelly, filled with holo hex glitters in shades of red and green, with a flash of blue, silver and purple as the light hits them! It has that great jelly formula that can be completely opaque in just 3 coats (as seen in my photos) or you could layer this over a similar base. Great formula, not to thick and opaque enough to wear it on it's own! A perfect glittery mix for the Holiday season in my opinion! (shown is 3 coats plus topcoat)

Son of a Nutcracker is a red jelly filled with red, white and black hexes of different sizes, small squares, teeny black bar glitters and an ever so hint of micro shimmer. It is beautiful! It could likely be opaque in 2 thicker coats, but I did 3 very thin coats plus topcoat for my photos.

Things We Can't See is my fav of the three. It's a dark brown, shimmery jelly jam packed with gold and coppery toned micro glitter with hints of red and green! Gah-or-geous! Fantastic formula and is opaque in just 2 coats. This one is so freaking pretty! It is such a deep brown that indoors it has an almost blackened appearance, but man...when the light hits it..so amazing!

Again the Winter 2014 collection will include 6 polishes in total. I have not seen the remaining 3 in the collection, but if they are anywhere near as pretty as these...I WANT THEM!

Jior Couture's Winter 2014 collection will be release December 12th! Be sure to follow them at the links below for swatches of the rest of the collection and more release information!

  1. I am thinking of ordering from this brand ...does it wear well and does it smell strong?

    1. I honestly did not notice any difference in smell when compared to other nail polishes. As far as wear, I change my polish pretty much daily, so I can't really vouch for that...
