Love, Angeline - Château Macaron (swatches and review)

Hi guys! Today I have swatches and my review of Love, Angeline's new Château Macaron collection. The collection consists of 9 gorgeous, MATTE PASTELS!

Summer Sorbert is a beautiful, soft light orange matte, filled with peachy gold toned micro shimmer! For my photos I did two coats without topcoat. (the last photo topped with HK Girl)

Baiser de Mousse is a lovely baby pink matte, filled with pink, lavender and gold micro shimmer! I again did just two coats without topcoat. (the last photo topped with HK Girl)

Almond Darling is a really pale lavender, leaning pink matte, filled with pinky lavender micro shimmer! Two coats without topcoat! (the last photo topped with HK Girl)

Parisian Jewel is an amazing pale, dusty blue matte, filled with blue and teal micro shimmer! Again, two coats without topcoat! This color is so crazy pretty! (the last photo topped with HK Girl)

Wagashi Style is the most gorgeous teal matte, filled with teal and golden micro shimmer! Two coats without topcoat! Though this one is still a pastel, it is also really vibrant all at the same time! This one may be my favorite, but its hard to choose! (the last photo topped with HK Girl)

Match-a-Mint is a beautiful minty, lime green matte, filled with green and golden micro shimmer! Again just two coats without topcoat! So Gorgeous! (the last photo topped with HK Girl)

Con-fection-ary Yellow is a really pretty canary yellow matte, filled with gold, pink and teal micro shimmer! I am not a fan of yellow as you may know, but this is really pretty! Just not on me..haha!
Two coats without topcoat! (the last photo topped with HK Girl)

Did You Say Peppercorn is an amazing dove gray matte filled with pink, lavender and teal micro shimmer! So awesome! This is in my top 3 for the collection for sure! Again just two coats without topcoat! (the last photo topped with HK Girl)

Meringue Tango is a beautiful white matte, filled with golden micro shimmer! This isn't a stark white, but not a cream either...it's the perfect in between! Two costs without topcoat! (the last photo topped with HK Girl)

These are so amazing! Not only pastel, but matte! And for being matte and filled with micro shimmer, the formulas are amazing! The shimmer isn't so crazy apparent indoors, but you can really see it well in the sunlight! I will say you need to use a light hand, if you're too heavy handed you may overwork the polish and make it patchy. You just have to remember that matte polish dries quicker..the more you work it the thicker it gets, so quick light strokes work best!

These will be available February 20th in Love, Angeline's shop!

  1. I love them matte, but I love them even more with top coat!

    1. I really like them glossy topcoated too! It was hard to capture, but the topcoat brings out the shimmer a lot more!

  2. Can you comment on the wear-time for any of these polishes? They are so gorgeous I want them all, but I've had really terrible chipping on some of the other new spring matte polish lines.

    1. I'm not sure I can give you a helpful answer. I wore the teal one for 24hrs with no issues, but that's the longest wear time...

    2. 24 hours is better than I got from the others - thanks for letting me know!
