Dollish Polish - "Cult Classic Series" 1st Installment (swatches and review)

Hi guys! Today I have another super fun collection created by Dollish Polish! The "Cult Classic Series" 1st Installment! Such a great idea and I must say, I have seen and loved every single one of these movies!

I've Seen Things You People Wouldn't Believe, inspired by the movie Blade Runner, is a beautiful dark grey/gunmetal shimmer base filled with gun metal and black holo micro glitters and pops of black and blue medium glitters. Great formula needing just two to three thin coats. For my photos, I did two coats plus topcoat!

I Gave Her My Heart, She Gave Me a Pen, inspired by the movie Say Anything, is a mega dense micro glitter that has a mix of gold, copper, caramel micro glitters, with accents of rose and magenta. So freaking gorgeous! Love the little magenta pops; and who doesn't love a full coverage glitter! I got away with just two coats, plus two coats of topcoat. With this, you want to be sure not to overwork the polish as micro glitters can be a little tricky. Apply the first coat lightly and let it mostly dry before adding a second.

Blue Steel, do I even need to tell you what movie this is from? Well,. just in case, this is inspired by the movie Zoolander! It is a deep teal metallic formula with hints of cobalt blue micro flakies and glitters. Another awesome formula needing just two coats plus topcoat.

You Are a Product of Fear, inspired by Donnie Darko, is an amazing blackened mulberry jelly, filled with turquoise micro flakies! This is so gorgeous and just a beautiful combo of base and flakie color! I'm in love! And...do you see it matte! For this one, I again did two coats plus topcoat!

You've Got Red on You, inspired by Shaun of the Dead, is deep red jelly base loaded with metallic ruby and crystal red micro glitters! Another totally gorgeous polish! Ready for the broken record? Another great formula that was just two coats plus topcoat!

What Is Your Damage, Heather?, inspired by the movie Heathers. is a beautiful bubble gum pink crelly, mixed with a subtle scattered holo and silver holo & iridescent micro glitters. Another two coat beauty! Such a girly combo!

End of Line, inspired by the movie TRON, is a black jelly base filled with silver flakes, silver micro glitter and varying matte glitters in yellow, blue and red. Love! For this one, you can get away with two thicker coats, but I chose to do three thin coats plus topcoat!

I, Myself, Am Strange & Unusual, inspired by the movie Beetlejuice, is a gorgeous blue/violet crelly filled with blue iridescent micro glitters, as well as rose & red micro glitters. So so pretty and totally reminds you of the wedding scene of the movie! My camera picked it up a little more blue, but this is a perfect blue/violet blend in real life. Another two coats plus topcoat!
(The photos were adjusted to show the polish correctly)

The Girl with Green Eyes, inspired by Lo Pan of the movie Big Trouble in Little China, is a cream crelly base filled with the traditional Chinese dragon matte shades of blue, green, red, yellow and orange hexes, as well as small white squares! Gorgeous! I love crellies! This one had a wonderful formula as well. For my photos I did three thin coats, plus topcoat. There was no fishing at all and it appeared to self level perfectly!

Ideas are Bulletproof, inspired by V for Vendetta, is a clear jelly base filled with varying shapes and sizes of glitters in red, black and white. Here I did one coat over Believe by Joshik Polish.

I think Dolly has some sort of voodoo magic that she sprinkles into each polish! Seriously! Amazing formulas, a ton of glitter, yet absolutely no fishing. I didn't even have to turn bottles upside down. I don't know where she gets her suspension base, but man...oh man!

The "Cult Classic Series" 1st Installment will be available in Dolly's shop today at Noon EST! Check her out at the links below!
