Glitter or Die -The Dashing J's collection (swatches and review)

**press sample**
Hi guys! I am super excited to share this collection with you today! The amazing Rosie of Glitter or Die has created an awesome collection inspired by and in collaboration with all of her swatchers! Rose calls us #TheDashingJs because all of our names begin with the letter J!

The swatchers are @jamylyn_nails, @gotnail, @jahmynails, @bluevelvetlacquer and me! Each swatchers is represented by two polishes. One is Rosie's creation, inspired by us, and the other is a collaboration between Rosie and the swatcher!

Of course I am going to share mine first! haha!

The Exuberant Jennifer (hehe!) is deep blue ultrachromatic polish that shifts through magenta, blue, purple, and copper! My photos really only show the purple to blue shift, but if you check out @jamylyn_nails macro, you will see almost all of the shifty goodness! This had a wonderful formula that was opaque in two coats, though I couldn't stop and added a third.... ya know, for good measure! Haha!

Spring Showers is my collaboration polish! It is a grey crelly with a mix of glitters in an array of colors, shapes and finishes. (baby blue, dark blue, green, yellow, purple, metallic, matte, hexes, circles, octagons! An assortment of beauty, just like a field of flowers. Rosie really matched the name to this polish perfectly!  It's totally like a field of wildflowers on a stormy day! For my photos I did three thin coats, plus topcoat!

The Ravishing Jessica was inspired by the ever so talented Jessica of  @bluevelvetlacquer!  It is a silvery/lavender holo with purple micro flakies and blue/pink/purple UCC flakies. This could easily be used as a topper, but I love it so much I had to wear it alone! Here I did 3 thin coats, plus topcoat! The shiftiness of the flakies mixed with the holo are a match made in heaven!

Magic Kingdom is Jessica's collaboration polish! It's a squishy blurple jelly filled with light pink, silver, blue and purple glitters in varying shapes and sizes! In true jelly fashion, you are not likely to get this completely opaque on it's own, but that just adds to it's depth and squishy goodness! Here I did three thin coats plus topcoat! If you prefer a more opaque look, I'd suggest applying one coat over a creme that's similar in color.

The Plucky Jahmai was inspired by the lovely Jahmai of @jahmynails! It is a deep coral-y pink with tons of golden shimmer.....and it's thermal! This beauty turns a gorgeous golden nude shade when warm! Amazing formula, needing just two coats, though I was almost able to get away with one thicker coat. The thermal action works perfectly; for my photos I didn't have to manipulate the thermal with water at all, it started changing before I could even finish one coat!

The Gleam of the Jah's is Jahmai's collaboration polish! It's sort of a dusty, but almost neon-ish purple when cold and changes to a beautiful almost clear, pinkish nude when warm! This also has gorgeous pink and gold flakes and flecks throughout! Again, the thermal changed perfectly and this was just two coats plus topcoat!

The Chipper JayLynn was inspired by the amazing JayLynn of @gotnail! It's a beautiful minty green shade with a subtle touch of holo! Super springy and seriously just made me happy while wearing it..lol! Another amazing formula that took just two coats plus topcoat!

Coral Dive is Jaylynn's collaboration polish and is in very close running with being my favorite glitter topper ever! Rosie kills it with the glitter toppers! This is a clear jelly base (maybe a hint of pink) filled with circles and hexes in varying sizes. The glitters are a perfect combo of coral, peach, gold, iridescent, and chocolate tones! Here I did two very thin coats over OPI You're So Vain-illa!

The Intrepid Jamy was inspired by the amazing Jamy of @jamylyn_nails! It is a clear jelly base that is loaded with red glitters in different shapes, sizes and finishes! So freaking pretty! In true LacqueredMama fashion, I again had to put this over a nude base...I just can't get enough of glitter over nude bases! Who's with me?! Here I did one coat over OPI You're So Vain-illa!

OMG! is Jamy's collaboration polish and O>>>M>>G! Its gorgeous! It's a blue toned, purple holo filled with UCC flakies that shift from blue to violet to green! Glorious combination and perfect formula needing just two coats plus topcoat!

I may be a little bit biased, but I truly think Rosie nailed this collection! Such an eclectic mix of polishes that somehow all go perfectly together as a collection! Big shoutout to all the swatchers too! All of these ladies are equally amazing! Fantastic swatchers and nail artists in general!

The Dashing J's collection will be available in Glitter or Die's shop on May 16th! These will be sold individually for $10 each, or each swatcher's duo for $17. Be sure to follow her for more information, as well as all of the swatchers to see their pics!
