Hi guys! Today I have the Collection 4 Stamping Plates from UberChic Beauty to share with you, along with an awesomely innovative mat to aid even the newbiest of stampers in their quest for making decals easy! (newbiest? lol)

First up, lets talk plates!

As with the previous collections, collection 4 includes three stamping plates.

As always, I had no issues with any of the designs! You will want to note that their are several very fine lined designs, so with those speed is of importance, as the polish will dry onto your stamper a littler quicker. As for the thicker lined designs, if you find that when you scrape it leaves a bald spot, try scraping from another angle and you should see a difference.

Plate Specifications:
-Each plate is 9.5cm by 14.5cm and each plate includes coordinating single images down the center.
-the designs are 17x21mm and are built to cover large nails, but are crafted to not be so overwhelming that you can't see the image on even small nails.
-each plate comes with a PVC Sticker on the back to ensure you won't get cut; plus, its takes up less room than a chunky plastic backing and paint won't get stuck in the crevises.

Now for the NEW Uber Mat!

the Uber Mat measures approximately 17"x13" and feels similar to the material of a stamper (rubbery and siliconey) The underside is slightly more rubbery to ensure the mat stays in place. It features 10 finger and nail shaped templates, 3 different sized circles and a large open space to create several decals all at once! The mat is very flexible and can be folded or rolled up for easy storage. Because of it's silicone-like feeling, I found it very easy to clean up using my lint roller/tape (same as I use for my stampers). Even when I placed drops of polish to do leadlighting, the tape picked them right up! The mat is also safe to use with acetone and polish removers!. Also be aware that if you know of a polish that stains your stamper, it may also stain the mat.

Stamp your design directly onto the matte
(Mundo de Unas Black & CSS)

I chose to stamp directly onto the mat. When doing it this way, you need to be a little faster. It took me a few tries before I realized this and I couldn't figure out why my design wouldn't transfer. Then I saw Brittany's video tutorial and was like...duh! She painted her base onto the nail template first, then stamped onto that. It seems to work better that way.

Fill in the design as desired
(Jolie Polish Banana Leaf Green & Baby Hulk Green)

I really love the fingernail shapes, as they help you envision how the design will appear on the nail!

If needed, paint over the entire design with another polish to act as the base
(Jolie Polish Turquoise Blue Flower)

Apply a quick dry topcoat to the entire design
(HK Girl by Glisten and Glow)

Once dry, peel up the design using tweezers

Voila!

Trim the design down to better fit your nail

Apply topcoat to the nail and then place the decal over it;
press down firmly so that it adheres fully

Cleanup around the edges, trim any remaining excess
and apply topcoat

All done!

As someone who only owns 2-3 stampers, I really love this mat! It gives me the option to make as many decals as I want at the same time! I always hate monopolizing all my stampers to make decals.

I'm sure all you awesome nail ladies/gents will come up with amazing new ways to use the mat, but for me, the decals is what is most exciting! After doing this pictorial (and video below) I thought of 100 ways I could have used the mat better. I think with time, I'll find that this mat will be very helpful in many aspects of doing nail art. From testing out designs, color combinations and just overall messy nail art stuff...this thing is awesome and super original in my opinion!
