Hi guys! Today I have Lolita Lacquer's Valentine's Day Duo to share with you! The duo includes two polishes (duh!) inspired by candies, a cute or mean conversation heart mani bomb and a cuticle oil. Lets take a little looksy!
Just Talking, inspired by conversation heart candies, is a white crelly base filled with pastel metallic hex glitters in various sizes, as well as pastel heart shaped glitters in teal, yellow and pink! Super pretty mix! This is pretty sheer on the first coat, but it builds up really well. I was able to get away with two coats, but you may need to add a third depending on your application. I like that the white base isn't super opaque, because you would likely lose the glitters in it. The sheerness lets them peak out really well.
Red Hot, inspired by red hot candies, is a bright red creme filled with pink microflakies! Gorgeous and super opaque! This covers really really well on one coat, but I could still see a hint of my nail line, so I added a second coat; which covered completely and deepened the color a tad. The red is so bright and gets even brighter in bright lights, so the flakies are best seen in lower lighting. Because of this, I could not get inside bottle macros to safe my life. Macros require bright light, bright light drowns out the flakies....its a vicious cycle.
The cuticle oil is in a small tube (similar to a small lip gloss) and it has a little doe foot applicator. I've never used this kind of applicator and generally prefer the click or twist pens, but I gotta say I am now a fan! The oil was really hydrating, soaked in well and smelled really clean and crisp.
The mani bombs are heart shaped and you can choose between a cute one or a mean one, as well as one of four scents. I chose the mean version and mine is Avo Grass! Mira's mani bombs are always really great! They smell amazeballs and leave your skin and cuticle feeling really soft.
Ummm...isn't this sticker freakin cute too?!
The Valentine's Day Duo will be available on Friday, January 15th for $18 USD plus shipping. The polishes will also be available in singles for $9 each and the bombs for $1 each; the cuticle oil is only available with the purchase of the full duo. Minis are not available.
