Eclectic Girls - Calendula Tea Polish & Hand Care Collection (swatches and review)

**press sample**

Hi guys! Today I have the new Calendula Tea Polish & Hand Care Collection! Everything you need from cuticle oil to balm, to a hand scrub and lotion! Have you ever smelled a Calendula flower (aka: Marigolds)? If not, go find one now! They smell amazing!

This collection is very near and dear to Kim. The entire inspiration for this collection is Kim's mother, who she lost this past January. The Calendula is also their birth month flower, October! (I was also born in October; maybe that's why I am obsessed with the scent!)

First, lets start off with the nail polish! This beauty's name is Mom, obviously inspired by Kim's Mother, and it's gorgeous! It's definitely a topper, as I don't think it could be opaque on its own. Here I did two thin coats over a white base. It applied really smooth and I just had to do a little swirling to grab all the glitters. Kim nailed the colors of the Calendula flowers in this baby. They can range from yellow, to orange, to red and have various shades of green stems and leaves!

Next are the body care items! Each product has that amazing Calendula scent, but with a hint of Tea that makes my knees weak! Seriously, the smell is so relaxing to me! Also, I have super sensitive skin. Even products I've used for months, can suddenly start making me break out it hives. I'm happy to report that over the last week or so, I have used these nearly everyday and have had no reactions to them. Yay! Jennifer 1 - Allergies 0

The Hand Polish is the hand scrub of the collection. It's nice and gritty and has bits of dried flowers in it. It really gets the dead skin off and leaves your hands feeling super smooth. Truth be told, I used this on my feet and elbows too. They liked it! Ha!
Ingredients: Coconut oil, sugar, lemon juice, dried herbs, dried black tea, calendula extract, dried flowers, Shea oil, Jojoba oil, Fragrance oil, Epsom salt.

The Hand Lotion, aside from smelling great right out of the bottle, it is super light and soaks in very fast. It also leaves the faint scent on your skin for several hours after use.

Let's talk cuticles!
First is the Cuticle Oil. It comes in a standard polish bottle and is to be applied using the brush. It is also filled with Calendula flower petals inside! Reminds me of the fancy, decorative oils some people keep on their kitchen counters! Again, smells amazing and soaks in fairly quickly.
Ingredients: Jojoba oil, Shea oil, Rice bran oil, fragrant oils, calendula extract, dried flowers

The Cutie Balm (how cute is that name?!) comes in a small lip balm type container. Same fantastic smell and super moisturizing without being greasy!
Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Bees Wax, Avocado oil, Sweet Almond Oil, fragrant oils.

Well, there you have it! I really...like really love these! I need this scent in a body spray asap! Hey Kim, Can you work on that for me? Thanks! Hehe

On another note, Eclecticgirls purchases a lot of their ingredients from other small business, which I love! She gets lots of great supplies at their local herb & health company and her new polish labels are by Twinkled T!
The Calendula Tea Polish & Hand Care Collection will be available in Eclecticgirls shop Today at 4pm EST!
