Lillian Eve - Cabana Girl (swatch and review)

**press sample**
Hi guys! Today I have a single polish from Lillian Eve to share with you! I have seen this brand around for awhile now, but hadn't really come across too many reviews on them. When the brand contacted me to try one of their polishes out, I jumped at the chance to see what they were all about!

Before I begin, here is a little info I found about them on their website:

We are a creative group of people passionate about innovating beautiful, conscious products. We believe that it is our job to create a world where our health is not at the mercy of our cosmetics, and we reaffirm this commitment with every bottle of nail polish we make.
Our goal is to live colorfully with ethical nail polish that doesn’t sacrifice luxury or an artisan’s touch.Lillian Eve nail polish is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and toxin-free. We’re proudly 5-free, meaning our polishes are free of Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, DBP, Toluene, and Camphor. We never test on animals and do not source any of our materials from companies that do.
Now, onto the polish!

Cabana Girl is an amazingly bright turquoise green creme. It has a fantastic formula and was opaque for me in one to two coats. On my pinky I did just one coat, but two coats on the others. Not much of a difference in opacity if you ask me.

The packaging is really nice. I generally am not a fan of boxes, but I really like that they added a place to swatch the polish on the top of it! Makes it easy to store. Nice touch!

Ready for this? It stamps! It stamps really well!  Here I used it to stamp this coral image from an Uber Mini Plate over Vapid's Snow Fox!

I was really happy with this first impression of Lillian Eve polish. The formula was great; the pigmentation was superb and hello....it stamps!

Cabana Girl is available in Lillian Eve's shop now!

Thanks for reading!

  1. This color reminds me of that Mojito one from Essie, but this formula seems so much better! I need to try this brand.

  2. I love it when standard cremes stamp so well, too!
