Vapid Lacquer - Summer Shenanigans (swatches and review)

**press sample**
Hi guys! Today I have some new pretties from Vapid Lacquer to share with you! Aside from Fall, Summer is my favorite season for polish colors and Vapid knows exactly what I like! HAHA! Let's take a look!

Risque' is a gorgeous bright coral creme filled with a subtle shimmer. The shimmer isn't super apparent, but is just enough to give the color a little sparkle in the sunlight. Here I did two coats plus topcoat! It dries to a satin finish and was easy to remove.

Beach Please is a beautiful aqua blue filled with a subtle shimmer and micro flakies. Here I did two coats plus topcoat, but depending on application you may need a third. This also dries to a satin finish and is easy to remove.

Give 'Em Shell is a soft, beige base filled with blue to green to violet shifting shimmer, as well as ultra fine teal to green glitters. Here I did three thin coats plus topcoat. This dried slightly textured so a good topcoat is recommended and it was fairly easy to remove as there isn't a ton of glitter. Do you see that glow?!

Bitchy Pink is a bright pink creme filled with a subtle pink/violet shimmer. The shimmer isn't super visible here, but it does give the polish a little glow from within. Here I did two coats plus topcoat, but was almost able to get away with one thicker coat. It dried to a satin finish and was easy to remove.

You Really Blue It is an old favorite! It's a gorgeous cobalt blue, linear holo, jelly! Here I did three thin coats plus topcoat. It is a bit sheer to begin with due to its jelly base, so you could also layer this over a similarly colored base. It dried fairly shiny and was easy to remove!

Body Mist! OMG I was so happy to hear that Krys was coming out with Moisturizing Body Mist! I love to smell good, but can't stand many perfumes. I'e always been a fan of the lighter scents you get with mists. This particular scent, Capistrano, is amazing!  It gets its name from the coastline of Orange County, CA and smells of sweet oranges, driftwood, salt, ozone and a welcome wafting of gardenia. I sprayed this on my wrist around 10am and could still smell it when I went to bed!

This stuff.....is...amazing! The Whipped Soap Based Sugar Scrub! I used this in the shower on my legs before I shaved and it made such a difference! The sugar crystals scrubbed away my dead skin and then once they melted I just used the soapy lather to shave! Got my skin in perfect condition for some sunless tanning lotion!

All of these beauties, along with so many other goodies, will be available in Vapid's shop on June 18th! You can click HERE to be taken over to the Vapicorns' FB page to see the full restock list!

I was a little short on time this round, but please note that these do watermarble! I believe Alexandra of @polishlovesme has tested them out and will be posting a photo soon on her instagram.

  1. Beautiful photos! I like them all and am always thrilled when Krys brings back one I don't have! Thank you for the removal info! I appreciate it as I avoid hard to remove polishes.
