Morgan Taylor ' Marilyn Monroe Forever Fabulous Collection'

**press sample **
Hi guys! Today I have a collection inspired by one of the most iconic actresses ever! Marilyn Monroe! Whether you're a fan of her acting, singing or her fashion, there's no denying her beauty. Morgan Taylor has attempted to capture that beauty in nail polish form and I'd say they nailed it!
Let's take a look!

Let's start out with a little Marilyn Monroe inspired nail art using
four of the colors from this collection.
Funny note....my husband had no idea who the nail art was inspired by, yet every single woman I showed knew right away. Ugh Men!

Blue Eyed Beauty is a muted sky blue creme.
Here I did two coats plus topcoat; though depending on your application and nail length, you may get away with just one coat! This dried shiny on its own and was easy to remove.

She's a Natural is a nude creme. I feel like it sort of mimics the tone of the wearer. Mine appear slightly beige with a pink undertone, whereas I've seen other photos that appear more yellowed.
Here I did two coats plus topcoat. Depending on your application you may need a third, but I think most will be ok with just two. It dried shiny and was easy to remove.

I Prefer Millionaires is a metallic mauve shade.
Here I did two coats plus topcoat. This does apply with some brush strokes, so you'll want to be mindful of this during application. It dried a bit dull, but was easy to remove.

Batting My Lashes is a dark brown creme. In good lighting it definitely looks brown, but others it could be mistaken for black. Here I did two coats plus topcoat. It dried shiny on its own and was easy to remove.

The Camera Loves Me is a deep, vampy brown toned red creme.
Here I did two coats plus topcoat. As you can see my pinky nail looks a bit darker than the others, so depending on your application you may need a third coat to even everything out. This dried shiny and was east to remove.

Wish Upon a Starlet is a deep red metallic with hints of gold shimmer.
Here I did two coats plus topcoat. This had some brush strokes during application, but they pretty much disappeared as it dried. It does dry a bit dull on its own, but is easy to remove.

Diamonds Are My BFF is a clear base filled with silver microglitters.
Here I did three coats plus topcoat. This dried ever so slightly textured, but was still not bad to remove. I did however end up with shimmer particles on my fingers after removal.

Wrapped in Satin is a pale blue creme filled with a silvery micro shimmer.
Here I did two coats plus topcoat. It applied smooth, but depending on application you may see 'bald' spots and require a third coat.

Some Like It Red is a glitter topper in a slightly pink toned base. It has various sizes of micro glitters in red, pink and holo, as well as a red shimmer.
I wanted to show what it looked like on its own. Here I did three coats plus two coats of topcoat to smooth out the glitters. This may also need a bit more scrubbing to remove.

Hollywood's Sweetheart is a light, slightly mauve pink creme.
Here I did two coats plus topcoat. It dried shiny on its own and was easy to remove.

A Kiss from Marilyn is a warm toned red creme.
Here I did two coats plus topcoat. It applied smoothly, dried shiny and was easy to remove. This is definitely a color that you want to wear base coat with to avoid the possibility of staining.

Ice or No Dice is a tough metallic to describe. Sort of pewter in color, but still a tad silver.
Here I did two coats plus topcoat. It applied smooth and dried to a bit of a fine texture. One coat of topcoat smoothed it out. It was pretty easy to remove as well.

Please note this collection was sent to me compliments of Morgan Taylor as part of the #PreenMeVIP program; however all opinions are my own.

Lovely collection! My personal favorites were Blue Eyed Beauty, She's a Natural, Batting My Lashes and A Kiss from Marilyn!

The entire collection is currently available at Ulta Beauty Stores for a limited time!
