Vapid Lacquer - The Elements of Neon Collection (swatches and review)

**press sample**
Hi guys! Today I have a new collection from Krys of Vapid Lacquer; and a super fun one at that! Neon....Holo.....ok that's all, no other information is required..haha! Just kidding...

Straight from the horse's mouth (ummm...sorry Krys, I just called you a horse. Ok, let's change that to straight from the unicorn's mouth!)

This collection is based around Neon, the element. Every name has something to do with Ne (Neon), or it is something that is used to extract or made from this element. Neon is so much more than beautiful signs, lights and art that we know from our everyday life.

Each polish has both linear and scattered holo that is meant to give the polish an inner glow and not be overpowering.

Beware: Picture Heavy!

CRYOGENIC REFRIGERANT is straight up spectraflair! Pure unadulterated holo goodness! Here I did two coats, but this beauty is really right on the edge of needing just one!

NEOS is a neon yellow, with a touch of lime to it! In the land of yellows, this is the kind of yellow I would reach for! Not a lover of yellow, but if I am going to wear one, it will be holo! Here I did just two coats, but depending on application you may need a third. For being yellow, it was not thick at all, which was a major plus!

FRACTIONAL DISTILLATION is a gorgeous bright, sky blue! Another super smooth formula that needed just two coats. Again, this one was almost opaque in just one!

NE is a beautiful neon pink! Wonderful formula needing just two coats, though again, this was almost a one coater! This appears somewhat similar to Melting Point 248.67*C, but NE is more of that barbie toned pink, whereas MP 248.67*C is a bit darker and has a hint more of a purple/magenta tone.

GAS LAZERS!! is a gorgeous orange polish! This one was also two coats, but was almost a one coater! This one is similar to Neon Plasma, but Gas Lazers is more of a yellow toned orange, whereas Neon Plasma is more of a red base orange.

BOILING POINT 246.048*C is an amazing, bright purple! Again I did two coats, but this was almost opaque for me in just one!

NOBLE GAS is a freaking awesome deep blue that is a true one coater in my opinion! Super opaque and really easy to apply. I do need to warn that this beauty has a slight staining factor. I rarely get polish on my skin, so I can't vouch for skin staining, but my nail beds were just slight stained after only an hour of wear. When I swatch I only wear one coat of yellow stopper, but I think if you wear a good basecoat, maybe even two coats of basecoat, you shouldn't have any issues.

ATOMIC #10 is a beautiful neon lime green! Give that broken record a smack...this beauty was again just two coats!

MELTING POINT 248.67*C  is an awesome deep pink that is also a true one coater in opinion!

NEON PLASMA is a gorgeous red toned orange that was completely opaque in just two coats! Love this one so so much!

For comparison's sake, below I have the two pinks and the two oranges side by side...

Left: NE  / Right: Melting Point 248.67*C

Left: Gas Lazers / Right: Neon Plasma

Do they watermarble?
Warning! I suck at watermarbles! I have only ever shared one watermarble on my page ever...here is why...lmao! This was my best attempt after three tries!  If I, who cannot watermarble well can have this outcome, then anyone who CAN actually marble should have no problem...

Do they stamp?
Yes! The pure spectraflair polish looks best over black, obviously! The yellow and green seem to show up better over white, but all the other colors seem to work well over black and white!

**Updated to include black light photo!

I freaking loved this collection! One and two coaters all the way!

The Elements of Neon Collection will be available in Krys' shop on June 20th! Be sure to follow her for exact release time!
Thanks for reading!
