Hi guys! Today I have a gorgeous addition to this month's Polish Pickup from Bluebird Lacquer to share with you!
The Polish Pickup is a Facebook group where makers create a polish/product based on a certain theme and all of the polishes are sold in the Polish Pickup store the beginning of the month. (the first Friday thru the following Monday). You can order as much or as little as you like and even place multiple orders, while still only paying $3 Flat Rate Shipping!
For May, the chosen theme is 90's! Let's take a look at what Lou has created!
For Lou, the 90's mean hip hop, so she decided to go with the King of New York: The Notorious B.I.G aka Biggie Smalls aka Big Poppa. She took inspiration from the quintessential Biggie photo with his crooked crown.
Kind of a Biggie Deal is a golden mega holo with jewel tones flakies with a gold to copper to bronze shift. This had a really wonderful formula that was opaque for me in just two coats. I did notice an ever so slight, almost barely there texture, but glossy topcoat smoothed it out nicely. As this is not glittery, it was easy to remove as well.
Lou will also be offering a brand spankin new product called Bows, Knees and Toes! This shea butter based, all-over balm specifically formulated for the spots that need it the most like your heels and elbows! It’s hypoallergenic and has no tree nut products. Sticking with the same inspiration, Notorious B.I.G., this seriously moisturizing balm comes in the scent "Juicy". It is a welches grape infused with an earthy oaky undertone.
