Turtle Tootsie & 77 Nail Lacquer - New Year's Eve Duo/Mani Kit (swatches and review)

Hi guys! Today I have a fun New Year's Eve Mani Kit, that is a collab between Turtle Tootsie Polishes and Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer, to share with you! This is a limited edition kit, so be sure to check them out!

First lets take a look at the full kit! Each Mani Kit will come in either a pink or black sequin bag. I have the black to show you. It's super cute and really well made. Included in each kit will be a mini glass nail file, a mini bottle of Glitter New Year by Turtle Tootsie Polishes and a mini bottle of their Shiny Quick Dry Top Coat; as well as a mini bottle of New Year, New Blue by Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer and one of their special lip balms! Everything you need to get your nails ready for the New Year festivities! (I personally think this would also be a great gift for any little nail addict in training!)

Now let's take a closer look at those polishes!

New Year, New Blue by Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer, is a shimmery medium blue with a slight metallic feel to it! For my photos I did three thin coats plus Turtle Tootsie's Quick Dry Shiny Top Coat! This has a bit of a duochrome effect to it. In the bottle you can see a bit of purple peeking out, but since my nails are clearly not as curved as the bottle, mine took on more of a navy blue tone on the sides!

Glittery New Year by Turtle Tootsie Polishes, is a clear jelly base filled with a mix of gold and navy blue holographic glitters. This can be built up to opacity on it's own by sponging a few coats on. I prefer it as a topper and layered it over New Year, New Blue!

Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer Lip Balm in Strawberry Vanilla Mint - either 'Mystery Kiss' which has a slight mauve tint or 'Kissing Fools' which has no tint.

The New Year's Eve Duo / Mani Kit are $20.00 each (including US shipping/discounted international) and will be available in both Connie and Chrissy's shops on December 11th at Noon EST.
